Fellowship Committee

. Our enthusiastic Fellowship Committee works tirelessly to build a sense of community and belonging within our congregation, fostering an environment where members can connect with one another, grow in their faith, and create lasting friendships. By becoming involved with the Fellowship Committee, you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in strengthening the bonds between our members, enriching the spiritual lives of our congregation, and creating an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for all who join us. We believe that through shared experiences and meaningful interactions, we can create a stronger foundation for our church community, and we invite you to be part of this important mission.

Fellowship Committee Responsibilities

  • Social Events: The Fellowship Committee plans and coordinates various social events throughout the year, such as potluck dinners, game nights, and movie nights, offering opportunities for members to connect and build relationships.

  • Special Celebrations: We coordinate celebrations for significant milestones in the lives of our congregation members, such as baptisms, confirmations, and anniversaries, creating a sense of community and shared joy.

  • Coffee Hour: The Fellowship Committee ensures that a welcoming and well-organized coffee hour takes place after each worship service, offering refreshments and a comfortable space for conversation and connection.

  • New Member Welcome: We work closely with the church leadership to welcome new members and help them integrate into our congregation. This includes organizing new member receptions and providing resources to help newcomers get involved in our community.

Things don’t always have to be like this

Therapy is a great way to help you combat your addiction and manage emotional triggers. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, we help our patients learn what distortions or negative core beliefs are driving them to seek constant connectivity. We also dive in to see why we need approval from social media platforms to any addiction matter. Together we will work on ways to combat automatic responses that continue our dependence whatever the case may be.  Sometimes we have been out of the real world for so long, we no longer trust our communication skills.

Your therapist will help you rebuild effective ways of communicating with others. And help you feel more assertive and engaged in face-to-face relationships.
